Student Instructions
We can use the inferring strategy to "read between the lines" and figure out what the author is telling us. 1. Hunt through the text for clues. Show your evidence using photos or quotes. 2. What do you already know about the topic, that wasn't mentioned in the text? 3. Put together your clues and prior knowledge. What can you conclude the author is trying to say? 4. Go to page 2 to present your answer in a paragraph. Remember to use the RAPS strategy to structure your answer.
