Benchmarks with Bundles of Tens and Ones

Grades: 2nd Grade
Subjects: Math
Standards: Use concrete and pictorial models to compose and decompose numbers up to 1,200 in more than one way as a sum of so many thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones. (Math.2.2(A))

Student Instructions

Pull down the bundles of either tens or ones to skip count along the open number line. For example, to get from 56 to 100, you would first get to the next ten by adding 4 ones to get to 60 then 4 tens to get to 100. As you get to a benchmark number, type it into the box to be sure you are on the right track! Use the pencil and pen to label as you skip count.
