 
    Student Instructions
                    Working in pairs, use the co-ordinates to try and sink your opponent's ships.
1. Tap the  Add button

2. Using the  Move tool, drag the ships to places on your grid, ensuring the size stays the same and they are within the correct number of squares. eg. Carrier should be 5 squares. Remember you can make them sideways by using 2 fingers on an iPad or using the turning arrows. But they CANNOT be diagonal, and must be VERTICAL or HORIZONTAL ONLY.
3. When you are both ready, begin by taking turns to call out one co-ordinate at a time eg "3,F" - your opponent will reply with "HIT" or "MISS" and if a ship is hit, you they what type. eg "HIT BATTLESHIP".
4. Using the

 Pen tool or  Highlighter tool, each player records a CROSS for a HIT or a DOT for a MISS.
5. When a ship is sunk, the player calls out eg "SUBMARINE SUNK" and both players cross out that ship.
6. Play continues until all ships of one player are sunk. 
7. Tap
 Highlighter tool, each player records a CROSS for a HIT or a DOT for a MISS.
