For words that end with a consonant and y, usually change the y to i and add the suffix, but for words that end with a vowel and y, usually keep the y and add the suffix. For example, cry ends with a consonant y. You take off the y and add an i for cries and cried. Destroy ends with a vowel and y. You keep the y and add s or ed. 1. use the tool and add the correct suffix to each word. 2. click the green to submit your work
