Today's lesson is all about annotating, which is a fancy word for taking notes. You will learn that we can annotate sounds and rhymes within poetry. Read the directions below before completing your assignment. 1. Click on to begin. 2. Review pages 1 and 2. 3. Record yourself reading the poem on page 3 using the button. If you need to hear me read it first, click on the activity example for my recording. 4. Annotate sounds & rhymes on page 4. The first stanza's rhyme scheme (Remember: AABB, ABAB, ABAC, ABBA, etc.) is REQUIRED. The second stanza's rhyme scheme is optional. 5. Draw a picture of the poem on page 5. 6. Review your work (pages 3-5) and turn in using the button.
