There are lots of ways to be kind to people - you can send them good thoughts, help them out, or say something that makes them smile. 😀 Practicing kindness helps you feel more connected to other people, and can help settle the Hubbub. Let’s learn more! 1. ▶️ Click play on the Mind Yeti audio session. Follow along with the guided instructions. 2. 💭 Think: Can you think of a time where you were kind to someone? What happened? How did you and that person feel after you were kind to them? 3. Click Add Response. 4. Click the notepad and write about the time you were kind to someone. Include as many details as you can and reflect again on how that moment made you feel. 5. Click the mic to read your story aloud. Share about that moment and how kindness changes everyone’s mood for the better. 6. Click the green check to add to your journal. Family Why: Mindfulness helps children manage stress and work through it more quickly. Mindfulness practice—even a few minutes a day has health benefits. Research suggests that mindfulness can increase one’s ability to focus, calm down and connect positively with others.
