All About Me - Using Seesaw for the first time

Student Instructions

Tap add Greetings, parents and new starters. This is your chance to tell me a little bit about yourself. Using Seesaw, you will: Draw pictures, answer my questions, write what you can and get an adult to help you write down your ideas. If you feel brave, you can use the microphone to record your voice or the camera to make a video! Page 1: Use photo to take a selfie. Use photo to take a silly selfie (show me your fun side). Page 2: Use label to type in your full name. Use move to tell me your age and favourite colour. Page 3: Use the move to put the cat in the basket. Page 4: Use drawing to draw a picture of you and your family. Remember to use lots of colours!!! Page 5: Count the finger and use the move to put the correct number in the answer box. Page 6: Use label to answer the questions. If you want, you can record your voice too mic Page 7: How would you feel if you lost your favourite toy? Use move to put an emoji in the answer box. This activity can be shared with parents before the children start. Alternatively, it can be completed in small groups when the children start school. The aim is that the parents and children become familiar with some basic Seesaw skills, and you, the teacher learn a little bit more about your new class. It can also support the assessment of the child's readiness for school and help identify areas where they may need additional support or development, including Literacy and Communication, Numeracy and Mathematical Development, Personal, Social, and Emotional Development and Physical Development.
