Get ready to focus on your body. You are going to tap into the power of something that is with you all day, but you probably don’t notice - it’s your breath! 1. ▶️ Click play on the Mind Yeti audio. 2. 💭 As you return to the room, what do you notice about your body now? How does it feel compared to when you first started focusing on your breath? What does it feel like? 3. Click Add Response. 4. Use the template attached to draw a picture of yourself before you focused on your breath and then what your Yeti Body looked like after the activity. 5. Use the label tool to add words to describe your body before and after you focused on your breath. What was the Hubbub? How did that make you feel? What are your feeling now? 6. Click the mic to tell about your drawing and why you chose the words you did. 7. Click the green check to add to your journal. 👍🏼 Remember, your breath is always with you and something you can come back to whenever the Hubbub feels too busy or loud. Try it out on your own this week! Family Why: Mindfulness helps children manage stress and work through it more quickly. Mindfulness practice—even a few minutes a day has health benefits.
