Student Instructions

You are going to write an acrostic poem! There is an example attached for you to look at. To write your poem, follow these steps: 1. Choose someone who is special to you (they need to have more than 5 letters in their name). 2. On the first page, use the label tool to write their name and a list of things that make this person special. 3. Write the person's name down the left hand side of the second slide. 4. Write a poem about the person using the list of things that make them special. The first word of each line should begin with a letter from the person's name. 5. Edit your poem until it is just right. 6. Write a title for your poem at the top of the page. 7. Use the mic to record yourself reading your poem. 8. Tap the check to submit your work.
