Student Instructions
1. Watch il video 
about Leonardo da Vinci's invenzioni to get inspired.
2. Think of a problem or need that your invenzione will solve for people or the environment.
3. Sketch due (two) idee originali (original ideas) in your libro d'arte (artbook).
4. Choose un disegno (one design) to develop further.
5. Create labelled sketches showing multiple views of your invenzione.
6. Label at least otto (eight) parts of your invenzione in Italiano.
7. Write quattro (four) sentences in Italiano explaining what your invenzione does and how it helps people or the environment.
8. Take un foto 
of your finished invenzione.
9. Record

This activity encourages creativity and language practice by combining art and Italian vocabulary related to inventions. Students are inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's engineering drawings and learn to describe their own inventions using key Italian words and sentence structures. Teachers should encourage students to use a teacher-provided vocabulary table or dictionary, as well as sentence starters, to support their writing. The photo upload allows students to share their creative work digitally. Assessment can focus on vocabulary use, sentence structure, and design creativity.
