Student Instructions
1. Write the number of the day or of the lesson in the circle 2. Use and to move ten frame and/or coins to build various equations, expanded form, ten frames... to show the number. Challenge: Use and tell what you know (based on what you built) 3. When complete, select and place this in your journal.
This can be used as part of daily math or as a finisher, task, center activity. Place a target number in the circle and encourage students to write various ways to show the number.
