Student Instructions

1. add Tap the add button. 2. Watch the video. 3. Use a tally chart to create a survey of the class with at least 4 different categories to choose from. 4. Watch the video, 5. Use the :draw: label draw and label tools to create a picture graph and bar graph of your survey. 6. Use the mic microphone to record to explain your survey results in both graphs. 7. Use the mic microphone to record: a.) What category had the most votes? b.)What category had the least amount of votes? c.) How many more votes did the category with the most votes have than the category with the least amount of votes? d.) Do you agree with the survey? Why or why not? 8 Tap the check check to submit your work

This activity can be used to formatively assess students on representing and interpreting data with surveys, tally charts, picture graphs, and bar graphs. Before this lesson students will need to know what a survey is and what a category is.
