Student Instructions

For this task you are going to begin to divide number using circles to help you. 1) Look at the sum and work out what you are dividing by. 2) Use the shapes tool to create circles for the amount you are dividing by i.e. if you are dividing by 2 you need 2 circles etc 3) Look at the number you are dividing. 4) Use the pen tool to put a dot in each circle as you are counting up to the number you are dividing by. 5) Remember that their needs to be an equal number of dots in each circle. TOP TIP 1) When the number get larger you could put a '10' in the circle rather than having to count all the way up.
