Frida Kahlo is a celebrated resilient female artist representing Mexican and Indigenous culture. The story highlights her spirited childlike creativity, understanding nature towards animals and her ability to persevere through sickness, hardship and being different from the other young children in town. Frida dealt with many difficulties in her life but she was able to transform the pain into joy through art, creativity, imagination and playing with her diverse group of animal friends! 1. Then use the pencil to circle the best answer. 4. Page 5 Press play and follow along to the Mindful Moment: What is Important to You? 5. Page 6: Draw 1 or 2 things that are important to you using paper, crayons, colored pencils or markers and take a photo OR use the Seesaw tools drawing background shapes to draw directly on your mindful journal.
