Homophones are words that sound the same, but they have different meanings. Hour and our are examples of homophones. Are sounds very similar, but is pronounced slightly different which makes it a near homophone. 1) Click on the and watch the video "Adventures in Homophones (and Near Homophones) Our, Are, and Hour" 2) Click on page two for an example of the student response template. If you click on the recording, the page and directions will be read aloud to you. 3) Click on the student response template: Our, Hour, and Are. 4) Read the short story. 5) Using Seesaw's or tools draw a picture to go along with the story. 6) Tap when you are finished.
