Teachers, save “Fun with 2-Dimensional Shapes” to assign it to your class.

Watch the video link about The Greedy Triangle. Look at slide 1 and name the different kinds of polygons in the purple text boxes. Experiment with making some polygons using something you have at home. It could be pretzel sticks or toothpicks. You can use marshmallows if you have them to make the vertices! You could use single row Legos. Maybe you have Lincoln Logs or a K'Nex kit. You could even use pencils or strips of paper. Show your polygons on slides 2-5 using the camera tool to upload photos!
