Today we'll be using our senses to work on using imagery in our poetry! Let's really work on creating detailed scenes in our readers' heads, so they can envision what you're writing clearly. Lesson Outline: 30 minutes 1. Read the slideshow and brainstorm ideas/follow prompts (5-10 minutes). 2. Write an I Remember Poem (10 minutes) 3. Write a second I Remember poem, or more poetry of your choice. (10 minutes) 4. Post your I Remember poem to this seesaw activity.
