1. A Symphonic Poem is a story told through music. In a symphonic poem, there is usually no narrator or words, but the music is written in such a way to depict specific events or to create a story you can see and follow in your mind. Danse Macabre was written to tell the tale of a graveyard and a yearly Halloween party put on by the skeleton residents there. It's meant to be spooky, but in a fun way too.
