Robotics is not only the future, it is also the present. By familiarizing students with programming, sensors, and automation, they hone critical computational thinking skills needed to succeed in both the 21st century's workforce and in everyday life. This activity will provide you with various opportunities and challenges to get familiar with Robotics and specifically the VEX IQ Robot (2nd Gen). If you have the the actual kit there are guides and challenges you can start with. If you don't you can still get familiar with the kits and also explore virtual coding challenges with the online activities. If you tap add response and go to page 1, there are link to instructional manuals or online activities. Explore and discover the abilities of the 🤖Vex Robot. On the following pages are some ideas how you can record your interactions and achievements. You can always add your own page responses if you would like to. Lets build a BaseBot. Go to the 🔗link's on page :1 1.Build the BaseBot 2. Build the BaseBot with Sensors 3. Vex IQ coding Games (online) 🤔How can you record your achievements. Create a Digital Diary using the seesaw tools. Record your progress using the photo and video. What problems did you have? How did you overcome them? Create a similar response for the BaseBot with sensors. Maybe design a set of trials to test the effectiveness of the sensors and record or communicate the results on seesaw. Be creative with your responses and remember to check your final upload to seesaw.
