Additional Resources: A great book to help with identity work with young people is "This Book is Antiracist" by Tiffany Jewell. Additional teacher resources are available online. A great picture book to use to help students name parts of someone's identity is "When the Beat was Born: DJ Kool Herc and the Creation of Hip Hop" by Laban Carrick Hill. This picture book is what inspired this project.
