Choose a Term: Pick a modern term commonly used in social media or gaming. Examples could be “meme,” “DM” (Direct Message), “streaming,” or “avatar”. Research: Think about how you can explain the term in a way that someone new to it (like your parents or guardians) would understand. Why do people use this term, and what does it mean in a digital context? Plan Your Explanation: Outline a simple explanation. Imagine you’re explaining it to a family member who may not be as familiar with online or gaming terms. Create Your Video: Use your iPad or another device with Seesaw to film your explanation. Make it engaging and clear – add examples, hand gestures, or even drawings to help illustrate your point! Share and Reflect: Upload your video to Seesaw, and consider sharing it with classmates and parents. Ask your family if they understood the term better after watching.
