Teachers, save “Art: Design your own wellies” to assign it to your class.

The month of June has been very wet so far! If you have been out and about recently I am sure you've had your wellies back on! Someone famous who always has her wellies on is... Katie Morag! First choose your favourite story to watch here :https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b04xdngw/katie-morag Then get your creative hat on to design your very own wellies! Use the template attached to either trace onto a piece of white paper or use the drawing tool to design them. Try to avoid just colouring them in - think about patterns/ shapes/lines - use the pictures attached for inspiration! Challenge: Cut your wellies out and stick them onto a separate sheet then draw a huge puddle for your wellies to jump in! This can be completed using crayon/ tissue paper/using a straw to blow paint etc again see the examples attached Finally post a picture of your welly designs!
