Watch the this video on YouTube... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLEzNDMH6VQ Every time the car goes down a hill it is converting potential to kinetic energy. Every time it goes up a hill it is converting kinetic to potential energy. For this activity I want to you to build a "track" with as many potential to kinetic energy conversions as possible. You can use anything that rolls for your car (a ball, a marble, a coin, a can, or even a hot wheels car if you have one). For your ramps, use whatever materials you have available in the house (paper, cardboard, plastic, empty containers etc...). Once you have a track, film your car going over as many hills as possible in one run. Remember not to push your car. Let it go. If you push it, you are giving it more kinetic energy than it would normally have. Click on the button and upload your video to this activity.
