This game is ideal for Early Childhood students that are just learning new words and can be adapted for older students by simply using an alternate word list. READY TO PLAY LIVE? Connect to another class here: https://education.microsoft.com/guesstheword Game Play: Each class, or team, is provided a list of words. Teams each choose a word from the list and write it down in a space that is out of view of the other teams. Teams will take turns asking questions about the words in an attempt to eliminate words that could NOT be the other team's word. Teams continue to take turns until one of the teams asks the final question... "Is your word _______." If they are correct, they are the winners of that round. If not, the game will continue. Suggested Strategies: -Brainstorm a few possible starter questions. -Have students make future questions based on responses.
