Student Instructions
For your presentation in our Morning Meeting this week, please present on the topic of WATER💦 What do you think of, when you see this word? You could: 💧Tell us how this ‘topic’ has an impact in your life. 💧Find an interesting news article, or current photo about this topic, and discuss the situation and your opinions on this. 💧Create a piece of poetry or art, on paper, in 3D or with multimedia, that demonstrates your feelings about this topic. 💧Interview a family member or film your conversation with an adult discussing this topic (with their permission). 💧Discuss a place in the world where this topic is having an impact on the people of that country. Is there something we should know, or could help? IN-PERSON PRESENTATION: 1. Click and choose drawing. 2. Add a photo or video , record and draw your thoughts or include a website link to provide a visual for your presentation. 3. Click when you’re done. REMOTE PRESENTATION: 1. Click and choose drawing. 2. Use any of the Seesaw tools that will support your presentation and make your topic clear to your audience (classmates). Please ensure you record your voice if you are not appearing personally on the screen. 3. Click when you’re done. Please limit your presentation to 5 pages / 5 minutes, and please ask if you have any questions.
The Morning Meeting prompts are used as guides for structuring effective student talks, as ‘Student of the Day’, ‘Focus Student’ or ‘Class Meeting Host’. Student presentations should encourage students to be creative, compassionate and critical thinkers. Further Morning Meeting topic prompts include LIFE, KIND, SPACE, KIDS, EARTH, FUTURE, REPAIR and GROW. Please consider the individual students before assigning particular topics to them.
