Student Instructions
Objectives: a. Collect and record data about quantities of real objects, or characters on a screen b. Create a bar graph and pie chart to represent simple data. c. Make comparisons between data visualizations made by others and use them to make a prediction. 1. Go to https://studio.code.org/s/coursec-2020/stage/17/puzzle/2 2. Press Run and wait for the wizard to finish. 3. Take a screenshot 4. Press and paste it on page 1. 5. Use the picture to count the animals on the table on page 1. 6. On page 2, create a bar graph representing one bar per animal. 7. On page 3, create a pie chart coloring one slice per animal. Differentiation: All students must create a tally and a bar graph for one of the animals. Most students will create a tally and a bar graph for most of the animals. Some students will create a tally, a bar graph and a circular graph for all the animals, carefully color-coded.

Solve simple put- together, take-apart, and compare problems4 using information presented in a bar graph.
