Student Instructions
Plant tropisms are a plant's response to stimuli. Familiar stimuli that influence plant growth are water, touch, gravity, and light. A plant's response can be positive (towards the stimulus) or negative (away from the stimulus). Select one of the following tropisms and create a .gif to illustrate the plant's response to a stimulus: Hydrotropism, Geotropism (Gravitropism), Phototropism, or Hydrotropism.
1. Decide on the tropism you will illustrate.
2. Open up a Google Slides document.
3. Create your .gif on no more than ten slides.
4. When completed, select "File" and then "Publish to Web."
5. Set timing to 1 second, and check both boxes:
✅Start slideshow as soon as the player loads
✅Restart the slideshow after the last slide

Go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNrMQDNM59I to view a 5 min. video of how to make a .gif in Google Slides. *Please note if your students are protected in a Google Garden, depending on how student settings are set, their setting may not allow them to directly upload their gif to Seesaw. I got around this by making a copy of the student's Google slide document and uploading them to Seesaw through my account.
