Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This Activity focuses on singing simple songs (step 3 in Dr. Feierabend's First Steps in Music) or songs with the m-s-l pitch pattern (KodΓ‘ly Approach). The students should know the songs before doing the activity. They are Doggie Doggie, We Are Playing In The Forest, Acka Backa, and Rain Rain. The students will put the song puzzle together. They will then listen to the pre-recorded starting pitch. They then can use the microphone to record themselves singing the song. On the last page, there is an interactive dice for them to use to create a four-note pitch pattern to record themselves singing. There are also pre-recorded starting pitches on that page as well.
