Teachers, save “Drama: story telling” to assign it to your class.

Have fun creating a story basket First collect a selection of items/toys around the house which may help you to invent your own story. (Please see picture attached) How to create your own story: This game can be played with 2 or more players. The first player is to pick up an item from the basket and start the story e.g Once upon a time there lived a dog (if the player had selected a dog). Then take it in turns to select an item from the basket and use it to add a line to your story. You can choose to end the story wherever you like but think about whether your story has a beginning, middle and an end? Is there a problem in your story? How will it be solved? Next use the microphone tool to record your story and/or draw a story board of the story you have created. I have attached a story board for you to use either by using the drawing tool or copying the example into your jotter. Finally post your work to your journal
