Student Instructions
In this activity, show your learning (and maybe a solution!) of your Maths Challenge question. You need to use Draw and Talk or Video to record your thinking out loud. Make sure you explain the question, before you explain your working. You can use any of the other Seesaw tools to help you show your learning. You should re-record until it is worthy of showing to an audience. Save as a draft each time, then click when you feel you are finished. Please ask if you need help.
This Seesaw activity is the final stage in a ‘Maths Challenge’ unit. Students are provided with a range of Problem-Solving Maths activities and choose one to work on. They work in teams of 2-3 students over 3 sessions to solve the question, using classroom materials and manipulatives. They then use Seesaw tools (this activity) to demonstrate their learning and progress, even if they haven’t solved the question to a final answer. After completion, the QR codes for each team’s responses are printed and displayed, so any other students can view the product to hear and see how each team approached their Maths problem.
