One of the most important aspects of understanding a current event is understanding how similar events have played out at different points in history. I have posted an article from the BBC concerning the current Impeachment Trial of President Trump. Your tasks are... 1. Read the Article 2. Find an article about either President Clinton's Impeachment, or the case that led up to Nixon's Impeachment. 3. Post your article and a comparison between the current Impeachment of President Trump, and the Impeachment of the other president you chose to research. Important note--Nixon actually resigned before he could "Technically" be Impeached. But there was trial in the House of Representatives and they had a SOLID case, and there were plenty of news articles written at the time and since to use for comparison.
