This is an adapted version of Assessment 4 from the 1st Grade Gameplan curriculum book. Using solfege and hand signals, sing one of the melodies that are notated for each example. Have students echo and then circle the melodic fragment they hear. Sing at least once more and have your students double check their answers. You may want to create a key for future reference.
