When we repeat a letter sound in two or more words or syllables that is called alliteration. The repeated sounds are usually the first sounds—like a tongue twister: “She sells seashells”. Alliteration is a common feature in poetry, songs/raps, and other kinds of writing, as well as in popular phrases, such as "pretty as a picture" and "dead as a doornail."
