Student Instructions
1. Press on the green button. 2. Select your name from the class list. 3. Now that your class has been surveyed on their favourite colour, choose the tool to add the number of votes each colour received. Move this number so that it appears next to the correct colour cloud at the bottom of the page. 4. Choose the tool and select the correct colour from the side menu to match the colour you are going to add to the column graph. Carefully colour in the right amount of boxes to match the vote. 5. Change the colour of the pencil each time to match each colour in the graph. Colour in until all sections of the graph are filled in. 6. See your teacher to your voice reflection about which was the most popular and least popular colour for your class. 7. Press on the green and then green again to upload your work. 8. Don't forget to sign out when you are done.
I survey the class first and include this information to the bottom of a sample worksheet, just like the one in Seesaw. I use an iPad dongle to connect my own iPad to the whiteboard so that I can show all students how to use the and tool, as well as how to colour in each section of the graph carefully. I leave the number of votes up on the screen so that the students can refer back to it while they are completing their own individual graphs.
