Subjects: Math

Student Instructions

Welcome to your first lesson about CIRCLES. Did you know circles are amazing? They have intrigued mathematicians for hundreds of years! Learning about circles in maths is part of a topic called GEOMETRY. If you like learning about circles, that means you like geometry. For today's lesson you need to copy all the slides into your maths book, then take photos of your book work using add then cameraroll or photo Hints: 1. Always use something circular to get a perfect circle (eg. a maths compass, a plate, a bowl, a roll of sticky tape) 2. Always use a ruler for the straight lines. Freehand is not permitted in geometry. 3. Spread the work out in your book. Use as much space as you like. Geometry likes room to breathe! (Never squish the work up on the page!)
