You often see businesses advertising buying items in bulk to save money. How do you know if you are actually saving money though? How do you calculate how much money you are saving? The answer is the ‘unitary method’. The unitary method is used to find the value of one ‘unit’. By finding the value of one unit you are able to compare items of varying quantities and make informed decisions about which deal is the best value for money.
