Moving around is not only good for your body, it’s good for your mind. Moving around, even just a little bit, makes you calmer and happier. Let’s try moving our body with Mind Yeti today! 1. ▶️ Click play on the Mind Yeti audio session. Follow along with the guided instructions. 2. 💭 Close your eyes for a moment and think again about the video and the type of tree you imagined yourself becoming. 🌳🌲🌴 3. Click Add Response. 4. Click the drawing tool. Draw yourself and the tree you were imagining. 5. Click the mic to tell about your picture. How did you feel as you imagined yourself like your tree? 6. Click the green check to add to your journal. 🏞 Print your picture and put it up next to your bed or somewhere you might go to if you need some space and time to calm your body. You can look at the picture and practice becoming the tree in the city. 🌳 Family Why: Mindfulness helps children manage stress and work through it more quickly. Mindfulness practice—even a few minutes a day has health benefits. Research suggests that mindfulness can increase one’s ability to focus, calm down and connect positively with others.
