Student Instructions

When using sensors you are usually programming the robot to wait until something happens. This is like the conditional or control blocks we've been using. Look at the first picture. This is an overview of what the first part of the program might look like. The second picture will help you set the wait block correctly. You will need a color sensor. Sensors are plugged into the numbered blocks on the front of the robot. Your robot will drive around the floor looking for colored tape and let you know when it finds some. You will want to try adding one step at a time to check for bugs. • Drive until the tape is detected and stop. • Shout the name of the color when you reach the tape. • Keep driving looking for more of the same colored tape. Warning- it might get stuck on the tape. How can you solve that problem? add Upload a video video of your robot completing the challenge when you are finished. caption In the caption write how you solved the problem and blocks used
