Getting Ready for my New Class! This activity will help you to make a special journal all about moving to your new class. This will help your new teacher learn about you and help you feel ready for the change. Each page has a different activity to complete! For each activity you may have to take or add photos, use your voice to record your ideas, write or type your thoughts and add drawings! "Soon I will be moving to a new class. I will still be in the same school, but I will have a different teacher, a new room and some different classmates. Some things will stay the same, like my friends, the playground and the adults who help me. I can get ready to move by learning about my new class, thinking what helps me stay calm and sharing what I’d like my new teacher to know about me. I am ready for this next step!"

Transition Reflection Journal - Supporting Change This activity is designed to help children reflect on the move to a new class in a calm, structured and reassuring way. Ideal for ASN learners or anyone who benefits from additional preparation and emotional support. What is included: - A social story style introduction - Prompts about old and new classroom, teacher and classmates - Pages about what stays the same and what might change - Emotional check-in and calming strategies - Pupil voice on learning preferences and support needs Guidance: - Complete with an adult or independently with check-ins - Use as part of a transition programme - Teachers can personalise pages in advance before assigning to children - Finished activities can be viewed by the child's NEW teacher to support planning and relationships Notes: - Focus mode is enabled on each page to restrict tools - Final page allows for complete free choice, including tools - Activity does NOT allow pupils to add additional pages - Limit photographs to NOT INCLUDE other pupils - Early/First standards have been tagged for technology - please add your own if needed
