In the story 'Lunch Every Day', Jimmy learns that one act of kindness can change so much. Think to yourself, what is a way that you can show kindness to a classmate? 1. Tap Add Response. 2. Overview: Assign this activity as a follow-up to Seesaw's We Love to Read Challenge virtual author event with author Kathryn Otoshi. Ms. Otoshi read her book, 'Lunch Every Day' and students learned about having empathy for others, to think about how others may feel and to respond with kindness. In this activity, students will think of different ways to show kindness to a classmate at school. Students will draw their ideas in Seesaw using the drawing tools and then use the microphone to explain ways to show kindness. How to Use This Activity: Differentiate by having students draw on paper, and then use the photo tool in Seesaw to capture their drawing and explanation.
