Dr. Maya Angelou was a bold woman who helped change the world. Dr. Angelou was a civil rights activist, a poet, a writer, singer, dancer, and even a cable-car conductor in San Francisco. Learn about this remarkable woman by watching the read-aloud, then by answering a question about one of her famous quotes. You will also do an activity about a cloud and some rainbow rays.

voice tool to record your answer.
4. On the second slide, think about how you can be the rainbow in someone else's cloud. How can you be kind? Click and
move the rainbow rays and tell me how you could be that rainbow. Go ahead and make your own rainbow rays. If you would like to listen to some of her other quotes, you will find some on the third slide.
