Before writing: Say the sentence. Say the words in the message tapping your knees for each word. Use a long wooden block as a base and place one connecting cube for each word in the sentence. Say one word at a time as you point to each connecting cube. Count the cubes. Count the words with your fingers. Ask: How many words are in our sentence? ¿Cuántas palabras hay en nuestra oración?
