Grab the picture and place it next to ithe word. PAGE 2: WATCH THE ACTS π½ - Watch the video of the acts/performances. - What was your favourite talent? Why? Click the to give us a review of your thinking π PAGE 3: WHAT'S YOUR TALENT? - We would love to see your talent! β₯ - Take a clip of your performance and place it on the stage - If you are not very sure, pick something from the list of talents on the left π Save as if you have not completed all activities Click when all your work is completed WHY? - Everyone has a talent! Performing is a transferable skill, it helps gain confidence and boost self-esteem. Learning how to perform for fun from an early age is a healthy activity and promotes wellbeing. This activity encourages self thinking in a positive way and helps young people identify their strengths and look into the future for ambitions and aspirations.
This activity can be used within many contexts to encourage thinking about performing. It can be used as a whole or it can be divided into to standalone activities to suit the needs of the students and teachers. It can be adapted for a variety of ages and year groups. The activities could be a good starting point for a 'Talent Show' or public performance to develop self-confidence and boost self-esteem. Page two provides a video to model a variety of acts and encourages self thinking, the video can be replaced with any other video or activity relevant to the topic being covered.
