Use the Take a Ten strategy to create a number bond to help you subtract. Take a ten from the larger number to help you subtract the smaller number. Put this difference in the red box. If you took a ten out of the bigger number, how many tens are left? Use the flexcard to find that number. Put those two numbers together to get your answer.
