Student Instructions
1. Click on the button. 2. Use the tool to take a close up of your child's face. Have them lean sideways with eyes closed (You can also turn the photo after you take it, by holding () the little turn arrow at the top and adjusting - See example.) 3. Grab the dots ()at the corners to resize the head part of the photo to fit the pillow in the picture. 4. Once you have the picture sized and in position on the pillow, click the three dots and hover over the word "order" then click on "send to back." this will let only your child's face show through to make them appear to be napping in the bed. 5. If you make a mistake and need to move the bedroom scene, just click the three dots and unlock it. 6. Have your child color the picture and click the to submit. This is a language and fine motor activity. The simplification and extension are built in. Engage your child in whatever level of conversation they are working on, from listening to you talk about the story and/or the picture to answering questions about the story, sequence and picture as they are able. Have them do their best coloring. Learning Opportunities: ELA 3 yr.1.1: Speak in simple sentences to communicate wants and needs. ELA 4 yr.1.4: Describe attributes of familiar people/things. PE 3 yr.1.5: With prompting and support, develop small muscle control by making lines, circles, and scribbles with writing tools (for example, chalk, crayons, paint, markers, digital tools). PE 4 yr.1.7: Demonstrate eye-hand coordination by independently creating simple handwriting strokes such as straight and intersecting lines, circles, and other simple shapes using a variety of writing tools.
