This is an adapted version of Assessment 4 from the 5th Grade Gameplan curriculum book. Direct the students to staff #1. Teacher plays a four note melody on the recorder, and students identify the pitches drawing whole notes on the staff. Repeat for #2, #3, and #4. Create an answer key in the even examples change from class to class.
