Here is the Hour of Code Angry Birds coding maze website https://studio.code.org/hoc/1 I recommend modeling for the students how to complete the coding challenges on a Smartboard. Play the first video with the whole class. Then complete the first few levels with your students as a group. You should show students how to count each space. Each space represents one "Move Forward" block. Students need to snap the blocks into place. If there is a mistake in the code, then the block can be dragged and placed in the trash. I like to show and tell students that they can test or Run each as many time as they need to until it is correct. Press Reset to start that code level to the beginning. When a new video is available students should watch it to learn the new coding skills needed for the next level. Coding is best done in partners or small groups. Students can work on their own device or share a device and take turns. Even if students are on their own device, then they can work with a partner to help problem solve and collaborate together.
