Student Instructions
1. Move the labels into the correct columns to make new words. Each word should include one base word and one prefix. For example, you could combine the prefix "dis-" and the base word "like" to make the word "dislike." 2. When you are finished sorting, create a label and write a sentence using one of the words. Move the label into the box at the bottom of the slide. 3. Finally, record yourself answering the following questions: What do each of the prefixes (dis-, re-, and non-) mean? Give an example of how a prefix can change the meaning of a base word.
