Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity is intended to be used as a template for any spellings. Change the word generator to the words you would like your students to spell. A video or audio recording can used in place of the generator. I would encourage the use of students to record the spellings as this promotes reading and identification of sounds, plus students love hearing themselves back ๐Ÿ˜Š. Replace the letters in the circle for those on the new words. Students should have no letters left at the end of the activity. Having the exact number of letters encourages problem solving along the way as students have to correct mistakes if they are missing letters. Use and adapt to the needs of your students.
