Start by watching the video. You are taught about Charlie, who was bullied for his interests at school. He is now referred to as #CheerUpCharlie. Watch his story carefully. He, alongside many musical talents have recreated a song to help raise money. This is called 'You Will Be Found' and is from a fantastic musical called Dear Evan Hansen. I'm suggesting a couple of options here for this activity. 1. You could either do the dance workshop, I would love some videos of this as we could put them all together and add to social media using the hashtags. Equally, if you want to do a video but for me not to post it that is fine, I would only post with your consent. 2. You could, learn some lyrics to the song. You might want to practise singing it. Again, if confident enough, you could send a video. 3. You might want to write a short piece of work describing what you think the meaning behind the lyrics are? How do these lyrics help people who might be being bullied? Does this song send out a strong message and how is the work of Charlie, and all the children across the country making a difference during Anti-Bullying week? 4. You could write a letter to #CheerUpCharlie thanking him for the work he is doing to support Anti-Bullying week, providing examples of how he is making a difference. I look forward to the variety of replies I get to this activity :D
